Water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) promotion
Access to clean water and appropriate sanitation facilities are amongst the most urgent needs of hard-to-reach poor rural communities in Cameroon
Inadequate safe water for drinking, cooking and personal hygiene makes it difficult for disadvantaged people especially women, children and people living with disabilities to maintain good health and fight off illnesses.
Partnering with WASH actors, CDVTA engages innovative services that protect the health of women, children, people with disabilities and poor rural communities to help protect their right to safe water, sanitation for improved livelihoods.
Through using appropriate technology to provide clean water, sanitation infrastructures and educating people on good hygiene best practices, CDVTA supports and enables vulnerable people and poor rural communities to attain improved dignified living conditions
